Why Choose Direct Primary Care
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a growing movement to help bring excellent and personalized healthcare to patients without the interference of insurance companies or insurance mandates.
In Direct Primary Care, the patient pays a monthly membership fee in exchange for nearly unlimited access to their doctor. A DPC membership also includes access to wholesale prices for lab work and most medications. In the typical fee for service model, a family physician typically has around 2,500 patients. In DPC, a full panel is around 500 patients. The smaller amount of patients per physician means patients get more time with and more access to their doctor. The doctor can then provide more thorough care to those fewer patients.
